Giulia Pellizzato is our passionate resident marine biologist with wide knowledge in marine ecosystems after more than 5 years of research studies and diving.
Originally from Italy, she grew up by the coast and was fascinated by the ocean since an early age. During her academic years she started to focus on marine mammals, sea turtles, fish, marine ecology, conservation and was involved in many research projects. She completed her Masters degree in Marine Biology at the University of Padova and held various research position in different marine and environmental institutions in Italy and Switzerland. Giulia also specializes in coral reef restoration having attended workshops in Marhe, Marine Research and Higher Education Center in the Maldives.
She gives educational presentations and connects guests directly with the marine environment through Marine Discovery program and snorkeling tours. When staying with us, you are invited to discover and understand one of mother nature’s most beautiful masterpieces.
